Sponsored Studios

The Mill’s Sponsored Studio program launched in 2021 with support from our Donor Circle and the James and Diana Ramsay Foundation. It has evolved through relationships with Mahmood Martin Foundation and new partner Sanaa.

Our experience is that removing financial barriers for artists and providing mentorship encourages experimentation, risk-taking and bravery. In 2023 we will offer two Sponsored Studios, providing marginalised groups more support and connection to community, and professional curatorial mentorship to extend their practice.
