The Breakout
The Breakout is our black-box theatre, a performing arts space where we host our Performing Arts Program, Fringe Season and more.
This is an intimate performance venue for audiences of up-to 80 people standing and 50 seated. The 100sqm venue has a sprung floor, acoustic treatment, air-conditioning, sound and lighting infrastructure, and a small stage by prior arrangement.
The flexible space is available for hire in 3-hour to 1-month blocks, and is suitable for rehearsals, developments, performances, gigs or events. Our small bar licence allows serving of alcohol and bar snacks. We have a roster of casual staff for live performance, including bar staff and venue technicians where required.

Galleries
Our galleries showcase exhibitions by independent artists, our studio residency outcomes and exhibitions by our studio residents, with a focus on process, collaboration and creative practice.
Our two galleries are the perfect setting for events, providing you with an artistic setting for a dinner or celebration. Both galleries feature concrete floors and access to a kitchenette and toilets. Our small bar licence also allows us to cater for groups large and small, we have a roster of casual staff to help with your event.

Upstairs Studio
A light and airy warehouse, Upstairs Studio is a creative space for hire in Adelaide CBD, perfect for your next photo/video production or intimate workshop. Roughly 7m x 5m, this industrial blank space includes a dressing room, assorted props, stands x 2, Wi-Fi and drinking water.
The flexible space is available for hire 7 days a week in hourly, half day or full day blocks. $45 +GST per hour weekdays and $65 +GST per hour weekends.
