Reception + Venue Volunteers

Reception and Gallery Supervisor Role

Reception and Gallery Supervisors are the face of The Mill and play a key role in welcoming people to our venue.

They are the point of contact for members of the public who reach out to us (in person or via phone) and are responsible for making a positive first impression. They welcome visitors, artists and audiences into our spaces and make sure they feel well looked after.

Reception and Gallery Supervisors are also responsible for ensuring we are a great place to work and visit; helping us to keep clean, tidy, safe and professional.

Reception and Gallery Supervisors work closely with our team in completing a wide range of venue-oriented duties, in and around our spaces and alongside our artistic community.

This is a 1-3 day/PW volunteering role, please send a CV and/or short bio and list any relevant experience working in creative environments, arts organisations, galleries and or hospitality.

People volunteering can have this work count towards their CentreLink Mutual Obligation Requirements.

Applications will be assessed on arrival.
