Oscar Arrais

My practice is centred on reclaiming discarded materials, particularly textiles, to create collages that carry both aesthetic and environmental resonance. By transforming fragments destined for waste, I seek to show that beauty and meaning exist within what is overlooked.

My work is process-led and experimental, evolving into layered compositions that reflect spirituality, liberation, and explorations of the human body. Earlier studies in geometry and architecture inform the structure of my pieces, while my current focus is on the tactile, symbolic, and sustainable.

Each work is an invitation to reflect on resilience, transformation, and belonging.
