The Mill is seeking theatre technicians with stage management experience/interest to work with us across the 2026 Adelaide Fringe.
We have 2-3 roles on offer, with staff interchanging between theatre tech and stage manager responsibilities. This dynamic gig is best suited to people with a moderate to high level of theatre production and QLAB skills, who enjoy collaborating with performers from a range of disciplines.
Key skills:
Plotting and operating LX and AV for live performances across theatre, dance, experimental / hybrid performance, live music and cabaret
Familiarity with QLAB v4.7 and above
Availability Monday February 2 - March 22, 2026. 4-5 days / nights per week
Great interpersonal skills and a good hustle
Our 2026 Adelaide Fringe season will run Wednesday to Sunday, with an average night consisting of 3-4 shows. Technical rehearsals on Mondays and Tuesdays, during daytime hours.
The Mill pays LPA rates on a casual basis, with penalty rates awarded as required.
Dedicated box office / FOH staff and ushers will be provided for all shows.
