LIMITLESS 2026 Artist Call-out

We are inviting South Australian artists to contribute A5-size artworks to LIMITLESS 2026 - The Mill’s Fundraiser Exhibition to be held in September. 

The exhibition is a celebration of work by local SA artists including: The Mill resident artists and alumni artists, visual arts students and graduates, local artists, studio collectives and the wider arts community. 

 Each artwork submitted will be A5-sized, and will be sold for $100. We will profile involved artists in the lead up to the launch, but artists' names and details will be kept anonymous in the exhibition. 

Artists' names and details will be revealed after works are purchased. When an artwork is sold, the artist will receive 50% ($50) and The Mill will receive 50% ($50). This contributes to The Mill’s annual fundraising target, ensuring we can continue to support and create opportunities for artists.

What can I submit?

• Framed A5 artwork 

• 3D object up to the size of your fist

• Conditions of submission

  • Artists may submit more than one work

  • 2D artworks must be no larger than A5 (148 x 210mm)

  • 3D artworks must be approximately the size of a closed fist, or smaller

  • 2D artworks must be framed or stretched, ready to hang (d-rings, hanging wire)

  • Unfortunately we can not accept unframed works on paper

  • Artworks must have artist's name, email address and artwork title on the back

  • Artworks must be submitted to The Mill by Friday, August 28, 2026

  • Artists must submit an online entry form 

  • Artworks must be original works, or limited prints

  • Artworks will be shown as part of a public exhibition at The Mill, September 16 - October 9

  • The Mill will manage the installation and deinstallation of the exhibition

  • Artworks will be displayed anonymously (without the artists' names visible until after sale)

  • If unsold, the artwork must be collected from The Mill between October 13-16

  • Submission is not a guarantee of inclusion of work, The Mill retains discretion regarding the final artworks exhibited

  • Every effort will be taken to protect artworks from damage

  • Artists must agree to the artwork sales conditions

• Sales conditions

  • All artworks must be for sale

  • A5 artworks will be priced at $100 each 

  • The Mill will administrate all sales

  • When an artwork is sold, the artist will receive 50% and The Mill will receive 50%

  • The Mill will pay artists via the bank details provided in this form

  • Artworks are for sale on consignment, there is no guarantee of sale
