LIMITLESS 2026 Artist Call-out

We are inviting South Australian artists to contribute A5-size artworks to LIMITLESS 2026 - The Mill’s Fundraiser Exhibition to be held in September.

The exhibition is a celebration of work by local SA artists including: The Mill resident artists and alumni artists, visual arts students and graduates, local artists, studio collectives and the wider arts community.

Each artwork submitted will be A5-sized, and will be sold for $100. We will profile involved artists in the lead up to the launch, but artists' names and details will be kept anonymous in the exhibition.

Artists' names and details will be revealed after works are purchased. When an artwork is sold, the artist will receive 50% ($50) and The Mill will receive 50% ($50). This contributes to The Mill’s annual fundraising target, ensuring we can continue to support and create opportunities for artists.

About our Galleries

Our galleries are located on the window frontage of our building at 154 Angas Street. Gallery I has a rectangle footprint with approx 16.4 linear metres of hanging wall space, and 38.8 square metres of floor space. Gallery I is oriented prominently at the front of our building with a large window facing Angas Street. It sits adjacent Gallery II, The Mill office, Foyer and Creative Industry studios. The Galleries have professional lighting, wall mountable screens, two projectors and a number of plinths available for artists to use.

The Mill is a growing organisation, and as such we endeavour to pay NAVA rate artist fees, as well as providing curatorial support and modest production costs, however this funding is unconfirmed. Before applying, please consider whether this project is viable for you without confirmation of these fees. And keep your fingers crossed for us! We no longer charge gallery hire to artists in the Visual Arts Program. Submitting a proposal is no guarantee of acceptance.

We want to make the application process easy to navigate, please get in contact if you have any questions or need assistance email The Mill’s Visual Arts Curator Adele Sliuzas, visualarts@themilladelaide.com
